Hello dear sweet precious eggs, my name is Brooke Zentmeyer and I am beyond excited to celebrate your hatching into the wild and wonderful henhouse that is Lewis Hall next year (yes that’s right get ready for eggregious amounts of bird puns). I migrate to ND each semester from the sprawling city of Cincinnati, Ohio where our sports teams never lose and our zoo is never in the news for anything (#TeamFiona). I’ve got two younger siblings, and two dogs and a cat. You will likely be shown many pictures of these creatures as they are featured in the background of every piece of technology that I own. Here at ND, I am double majoring in English and Environmental Science so whether you want to discuss books or biomes (or both?!!) than I’m your chick! I’m proud to call myself a member of T-Nation (I’m a transfer student) and I like to get involved owl over campus. I’m on the Notre Dame Mock Trial Team where we all dress up in business clothes and scream at each other about evidence (and, if you play witnesses like I do, you get to scream in a silly accent). I work at the Notre Dame Law School in their Marketing and Communications office so if you see me hanging out in there, please know I am not actually a law student (though sometimes I pretend to be one when they have events with free food…). Most importantly, my door is always open to you! (Unless you like making dramatic entrances in which case you are encouraged to close it and kick it open.) But seriously, stop by anytime even if I look busy—I’m probably just looking at memes or cute baby animal photos which I will be happy to share with you.
