What is Luce?
Luce (pronounced "looch") is a prayer service hosted in Lewis every Monday evening at 10 PM in the chapel. Luce is a Holy Cross tradition of candlelit night prayer. It is approximately 30 minutes. Luce is typically followed by Rise'n'Roll donuts and socializing (if you hang out in the lobby for it). During the service, you will experience a little bit of music, a little bit of reading the Bible, and a little bit of a reflection on the readings from fellow Lewis chicks or other friends around campus! Lewis chicks are not the only people who attend Luce-- students and faculty from all over campus attend-- so it can also be a great way to meet other people, Luce is only hosted on class days (not during breaks and such). It can be a great break from studying and a lovely way to reflect and connect with God during the school week.
