Megan Moore [email protected]Megan Moore is an Iowa native who began her college career at the University of Northern Iowa studying music and theatre for two years, and then transferred to Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, where she majored in Religious Studies and Theology, with a minor in Catholic Studies. At Loras, Megan was active in Campus Ministry, vocal and instrumental music ensembles, and participated in study abroad opportunities in Germany and Italy. Megan then earned her master's degree in the Catholic Studies program at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, during which she walked El Camino de Santiago in Spain as part of her capstone thesis. Over the past ten years, she has served in schools, parishes, and nonprofits all over the Midwest, primarily working with young people. Megan loves to spend her free time doing crafty things, playing pickleball, exploring national parks, playing (and sometimes hosting) trivia, and spending time with friends and family.
When asked to reflect on being a rector, Megan said: "I love serving as the Rector of Lewis Hall—walking with these women and building up this community! Simply put: I am honored to serve in this integral role in residential life at Notre Dame, accompanying these incredible young women as they become the best versions of themselves. I love learning and growing together in our home behind the dome!" |
